Classic Game Room HD reviews the NAKITEK “Power to Perform” Super Nintendo and Sega Genesis compatible controller for SNES and Sega Mega Drive. What!? One controller that plays both 16-bit game consoles? Yes. The Nakitek gamepad controller has an accessory built into the wire that allows you to swap this controller between the SNES Super Nintendo and the Sega Genesis (Megadrive). This gamepad also has programmable features and turbo fire, as well as 3-button Sega video game support and 6 button support which works with 32X games (and Genesis games) that require 6 buttons. This hefty controller is affordable and acts as a good replacement controller for both the SNES and Genesis.

  1. The question I want to be answered is: can you plug a different Genesis/Mega Drive controller into the Genesis-to-SNES adaptor and have it work?

  2. i think this controller can play
    sega genesis
    super nintendo
    sega master system
    colecovision
    atari 2600
    atari 7800
    sega nomad
    32X
    and the list goes on

  3. Its one of the few controllers that cheats on different companies. So… The Genesis and the SNES have every right to be angry… and jealous! ;D

  4. This controller is compatible with: Super NES, Sega Genesis, Sega Master System, Sega Nomad, Sega CD, Sega 32X, Sega SG-1000 Atari 2600, Atari 7800, Colecovision, Commodore 64/Vic-20/Amiga, possibly the Amiga CD32 (the plugs look similar), Vectrex (as seen in the modded genesis controller video), Atari XEGS, and I'm failry sure I missed a few. And yes, only one of them is from the Super NES plug.

  5. With that v male plug in mind, i was thinking of connecting a genesis controller & the activator to a snes to see if that works.

  6. Also because the ColecoVision detect Genesis controller, you can play your coleco with the Nakitek controller.

  7. I remember having this conroller from the late 90's I wonder where could it be right now? I had the feeling it was the first thing that came to my mind before the video even started and alas I was right, trip down memory lane!
