This tutorial will walk you through installing Nintendont to play your GameCube games on your Nintendo Wii U. For this tutorial you will require to have the HBC already installed on your vWii. If you do not have the Homebrew channel installed follow the guide below. I also linked a video down below to use USB Loader GX to launch your GameCube games.

  1. so i have nintendont downloaded along with homebrew and i put in my usb which has my games installed , and it gives me the option to choose sd or usb. i choose usb and an exception (DSI) occured. ive been trying to fix this for a while but have gotten nowhere. do you know what i should do?

  2. i almost have the same issue as carlos but with the sd card. i have the games on the sd card but when i press sd it reads "exception (DSI) occured" any idea what could be the problem?

  3. so do i need a wiimote? i did everything but i feel like you need a wiimote just so you can pick an option on using which controller

  4. Ok, so I just did this on a PAL WiiU running CBHC from 5.5.2.
I just want somebody to explain to me how the save file and memory card thing works.

So, I go into Nintendont, turn on the memory card settings to 251 and shared (for PAL and USA + JPN). Then I play a game for an hour, save the file, and press the home button on my WiiU Pro Controller. Then when I go back into Nintendont, the settings have been reset.

If I turn the memory card back on to the same settings I had before, will my save file from before be there?
