Today, I will be talking about the Retrobit VGA box for the Sega Dreamcast. What is a VGA box you may ask? It is essentially a device that you plug into your Dreamcast in order to get a really crisp, clean, and vibrant picture signal from the console. In this video, I will be showing you how to set it up, how to make non VGA games be force booted into VGA mode, and a comparison of the VGA picture signal versus composite.

  1. I'm deciding to get a VGA cable (also with a rca to aux because it uses rca instead of the normal aux)

  2. L0L why you do that with your PC speakers ? The 3.5mm plug , the green plug goes in next to the VGA plug on your Retrobit

EDIT: DOH !!! I didn't hear such bad sound out of there meself EDIT 2: Yikes , must be capture issue cuz sounds crappy here ! Sounded good on my 2.1 speaks

  3. That was a pretty cool review of the VGA retro box for the Sega Dreamcast!! The games that require the VGA retro box looks pretty cool with the enhanced graphics and everything! I liked the video!! Hope you have a great Christmas and a Happy New Year to you as well!! 🙂 👍👍

  4. I got the same one. It's works very well, better than the straight VGA cables(don't buy!!!) I have mine plugged I to my TV. Lucky to have a VGA port on my TV. Great review.

  5. i got all my dreamcast stuff today!…. execpt for a power cord…. yeah…. i guess ill be just playing on my vmu (for now)

  6. Hey Saiga, I have a question. What's the difference between Retrobit's direct A/V to VGA cables compared to the box itself?

  7. Does the vga box not work on some of the first made dreamcast? Because I have two of them and the one I bought when it first came out the box isn't working but I have a black Sega Sports one and it seems to work on that one
