  1. Chakan, probably the hardest game of any console. It was not known it had no "ending" until emulators with save states were available. Sagaia was also more difficult than most of these.

  2. I remember clearing Aladdin a few times and not thinking it was crazy hard, but Alter Beasts is only 5 levels and it's piss easy.

  3. The weirdest thing is, back in '92; I lost count of the amount of times I clocked Contra 3 on hard, yet playing it on NORMAL on the SNES Mini-my friend and I-working together [should be easier]: can't even clear stage 1…
